It'd been on my finger for at least ten years before I finally gave in and had it cut off. The prongs were pretty much GONE. I didn't know until then about having the setting checked. Now, I'm gonna be extra careful about it. <br /><br />For me, it's not the expense of replacing the diamond, it's the fact that it's my diamond I got married with. <br /><br />Have fun with Bonnie -- that sounds SO much fun!
